CITY - Community Improvement Through Youth

Young people learning enterprise skills by working in young person led teams developing and managing community projects.

Community Improvement Through Youth - A Pilot

The pilot ran from July - December 2002.  During 2003 the programme was trialled in other areas in Hawke's Bay and interest grows elsewhere in New Zealand.  Further development (2004) has stalled due to a lack of funds.

The Project
Through working in Teams, young people lead, identify and manage community projects and in doing so learn enterprise skills.
The Project ran from July to December 2002 in Hawke's Bay.
